January 2022 Monthly Review: A Relaxed New Year's Eve and Full Speed „Through the Roof“

March 23, 2022 | Reviews

The start of 2022 was actually very relaxed. Spent a cozy evening at home with my darling on New Year's Eve and cuddled into the new year 🙂 But, even though they say the year will be as it started, it didn't stay that quiet. Because I immediately, According to my motto for the year, took off like a rocket. Full throttle, "through the roof." And not just professionally, but personally too. That's why the monthly review is only coming out now. There was simply so much going on that I found little time to write.

The rocket is taking off towards a 6-figure business

For this year, I have deliberately set myself very high goals. I want to know. What can I achieve at full throttle? So, in January, I immediately approached the 5-Day Business Bootcamp participated with Sigrun and subsequently joined her program SOMBA Kickstart got started. And this, even though at the time of the decision, I didn't think I could invest that much time or money. But I decided to do it anyway. Because my gut feeling spoke up again with its standard saying: "If not now, when?" So I got started. Between the bootcamp and the SOMBA kickstart, there was still time for the visibility challenge of Digital heroines with the tagline ##zeigdieheldinindir (I’m a huge fan of the two of them—be sure to check out their Instagram channel). Plus, I’ve actually gotten away for the first time in ages: More ocean, please.

These are all my posts from January. There was a lot going on 😀

More sea please

I live about 1000 km away from my parents. They are in Northern Germany and I am in Vienna. Accordingly, we don't see each other very often, unfortunately. And even less during the pandemic. Last year for Christmas, I actually wanted to visit them. However, due to the high numbers everywhere, it was no longer an option. Nor was it an option for them to visit us for Christmas. So we decided to „celebrate Christmas late“ as soon as circumstances allowed again. And not just any celebration, but by the sea in Fuerteventura. We used to go there very often when I was little/younger. So it was special in many ways. And it felt so good to stand by the Atlantic Ocean again, listen to the waves, feel the wind in my hair, jump into the sea, stand barefoot in the sand. And simply enjoy a week's vacation together with Mom and Dad in the warmth. Simply beautiful.

Finally back in my element!

Enjoying time with others

Beyond vacationing by the sea, my vision and goals for 2022 also include planning more time for myself and with myself. And here too, I started with the first steps right in January. Various building blocks are currently active for my well-being. On the one hand, coaching and supervision, which I myself use. On the other hand, psychological support. My well-being is also strongly influenced by pleasant contact with other people. For example, in Fuerteventura, I had great conversations with some hotel staff and was able to dust off my Spanish a bit. That made me incredibly happy. Because currently, here in Vienna, I speak very little Spanish, but mostly Portuguese. In this way, I got to meet incredibly warm-hearted people. In addition, in January I also met up with colleagues from the psychological training course for a wonderful breakfast together.

Friends and delicious food. What could be better?

Do something good for myself

In January, we were finally able to dance samba together again and also resume samba percussion rehearsals. In addition, singing lessons also started up again. And other small things also brought me joy. For example, picking up paper and pens again to draw once more. I got the idea for this from Susanne Heinen with hers Action of the "Color Circle Journey". For a year, a different color takes center stage each month along the color wheel. Everyone is invited to join in and share color-themed images using the hashtag ##farbkreisreise. In January, the theme was "Yellow in Gray." My contribution was “Piku,” the chick. In addition, in line with my personal cause—stopping violence against women and ensuring their protection—I also did something for myself. I have a wonderful picture of Muschikraft purchased with the theme "femicides." And a portion of the proceeds went to women's shelters.
