My very first blog post was published in 2021. And I have to admit: I honestly don't remember how I got the idea to get into blogging. It was a time when I wasn't doing well at all, and I felt a need to find my voice again, to be loud, to speak with and for the topics that are important to me. I wanted to become visible. A feeling that arose from the situation. I started taking singing lessons, and I started blogging for the „Boom Boom Blog“ blog challenge by Judith Peters. Initially a bit skeptical and just curious, a significant part of my work began there. Today, I have published 54 blog articles, and my articles cover all the topics that concern me as a person – whether in business or personally.

On the way to the first blog post
On this exciting journey, I naturally thought back then about why I was curious about blogging and what I hoped to achieve through it. I also shared these thoughts in an Instagram post (I created the account on April 25, 2021, by the way). In it, on April 27, 2021, I wrote:
I will blog because...
not just for one reason, but for several!
- To jump out of one's comfort zone
- Indulge in exchange, cooperation, and shared thinking
- get all the ideas and thoughts out of my head
- much more
- ….
...where better to do that than blogging?
All right, the latter could probably also be done with the help of a diary... but why should I write down things for myself that I've already thought through with myself all day long in my head? I've tried it, it doesn't work for me.
Shortly before I published the article, I also announced directly on Instagram why I hadn't been blogging up to that point.
For me, blogs were always either online diaries, just without a lock, or a collection of expert articles.
Both are uninteresting to me and more of a „maybe if I have time and feel like it“ option.
The first is too private, the second is not useful for my purpose in terms of the cost-benefit analysis. So blogging was always very low on my list.
When @sympatexter came around with their „Dynamic Blogging“ strategy.
That's when all the gray areas of blogging became apparent and, all of a sudden, interesting for me and my business. If it's not about writing perfectly researched scientific articles every week or sharing my most private experiences with the world, then, yes, then...
...then a lot comes to mind that I can write about.
… then I feel like sitting down and gladly writing a text weekly.
… then I can imagine blogging.So: Here I am.
One week behind for #BoomBoomBlog and with a blog article that isn't really finished yet, which I'll publish tomorrow, and I'm excited about tomorrow's launch of #TheBlogBang with Judith and Sympatexter and many great women with whom I want to conquer the blogosphere.
My first blog post
Then the time had come. My first blog post saw the light of day. Of course – how could it be otherwise – my first Article directly a technical contribution. I've put into words why I love the type of coaching I practice. A Psychological Coaching in which hypnosystemic, solution-focused, and highly effective in working with people to find their very own paths to success. It took me a while longer to dare to share personal things with the world.

And here he is: My very first blog post!

Today is May 3rd, 2021. The day has finally come: my first blog post is being published. What an exciting moment. I had to summon all my courage to click the publish button.
In love with blogging, the blogosphere, and the community
After 2.5 months of blogging, it was clear to me: I had fallen in love. With writing, with sharing thoughts, with thinking through writing. In a brief interim assessment I've listed some points back then about what has been achieved through blogging.
- More visibility for my profession and as a person. I realized: until then, many didn't know exactly what I do as a coach, trainer, and consultant. Or that I even am one.
- Rediscovering the joy of writing, that I actually already loved as a child and teenager. I wrote entire poetry collections back then and already came up with stories in elementary school.
- The writing makes my business more concrete with every blog post. and is becoming more and more a part of me.
- A virtual home at „The Content Society“in a community full of creativity, appreciation, and mutual support
- A place for social issues that move me, such as Topic: Femicides.
Even though I have phases now and then where I don't publish much, the blog has become an important part of my business and for me personally. And I'm already looking forward to doing another anniversary retrospective in 10 years (2031). 🙂
